In conjunction with Chinese New Year Celebration, Seremban Parade created a new
record for the biggest horse replica made of groundnuts with a height of 4.5m and
width of 3.5m. The attempt was set on January 13, 2002 at Seremban Parade, Negeri
Sembilan. Six staff took a total of 20 days or 480 man hours to complete the task
painstakingly sticking the groundnuts on the horse replica one by one. It was a historical
moment for everyone when the Golden Horse Replica was launch for the public to see
for the first time. That’s a whole lot of groundnuts on one horse.
This incredible feat finally booked a place in the Malaysia Book Of Records.
